Evolution
This body of work explores ideas of negative human interaction in a natural environment. Focusing on bodies of water in Northeast Ohio and the amount of pollution that they are known for, I created humorous illustrations of the mutated animals that inhabit these ecosystems, keeping present the fact that we are the cause for these problems that are now beginning to exist on a scale that expands far outside of the little area that I knew as home. Asking the question continuously: "Where does mutation end and evolution begin?"
